The glam Pig N Whistle in historic Hollywood hosts the only open mic blues jam in LA. and the reviews are in. This is the friendliest and most industry heavy music showcase in LA. We have hosted the very best in Blues and Pop musicians, including Steve Lukather, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Joe Bonamassa, Jerry Chambers (the Chambers Brothers) Linda Hopkins, and members of Guns N Roses, Pearl Jam, Devo, and sidemen for Ray Charles, James Brown, Paul McCartney, and too many more to mention. The host band THE CATS-A-RENOS, start at 9p, and jammers are invited up after an opening set. Blue Wednesday at the Pig is every WEDNESDAY at the Pig. Blues/Soul standards please.
